HOW HOT IS HOTTER SAUCE?Joe Hotter makes hot sauce that is flavor first, with heat in a close second. Hotter Sauce never aims to totally burn your mouth, but leave a pleasant, spicy sensation that builds as you use more sauce. Our hottest sauce would be Thai-napple, followed by Honey Habanero, Slammin' Serrano, and lastly Pepper Blossom.

HOW LONG DOES HOTTER SAUCE LAST? SHOULD I REFRIDGERATE IT?Before you open the seal: virtually indefinitely, so long as you don't leave it in direct sunlight for several hours. After you open the bottle, put it in the fridge and it will last a year or so. Our 5 oz bottles have a label with two dates on them. The top date displays the best by date. The bottom date is the batch date. Because of Hotter Sauce's thickness, we think it's best enjoyed when it has been refrigerated.

IS HOTTER SAUCE FERMENTED?Thai-napple and Pepper Blossom are both fermented. Honey Habanero and Slammin' Serrano are cooked sauces.

DOES HOTTER SAUCE CONTAIN A LOT OF VINEGAR?Hotter Sauce is not vinegar forward, but it is a necessary ingredient for shelf life. Various vinegars help compliment the flavor in each sauce, but it is never a dominant ingredient like it is for most big brand sauces you see in supermarkets.
